Jack's first track meet of 2024 was last week. His season opener for the 1600m was a PR
by 7 seconds! He ran a 5:07 and said it felt easier than any of his races last
year. The below photo is not very clear but I'm trying to get splits so I forget.
This week Luke ran his first ever track meet. Like his brother, he doubled in the
1600m and 800m.
He ran 6:54 and 3:14. In both cases he was fairly even paced.
Below: Luke finishes his first ever mile race. We're very proud of him. He's adjusting and off a very low base. But, he's been consistent. Now, if we can just get him to be as obsessive about running as he is about pull-ups. Don't ask.
