So many posts that I never managed to do this year. This one is from last August. We adopted the fire hydrant near the house.
Fire hydrants need love, too. We painted it shiny red, of course. Plus, that's the color the city gave us.
I didn't tell the boys what we were doing until we got there. They were very concerned as I gave a walking speech, with foldable chairs in tow, about community service. They were good sports about it.
It just occurred to me that I never took a picture of the finished product. Alas.Still some more XC photos, among other things, to post.
