3rd Grade Valentine's Day Party

Love was in the air and sugar in the bloodstream. Are you old enough to remember that valentine's day was a sharing of cards? Now its a lot of sweat capitalism. On the healthier side, Mary volunteered for the party in Luke's classroom.
And helped the kids make . . . clothes pin caterpillars? Romantic little crittters!

His recent obsession with fuzzy gibbons is consistent at home and school. Here, he shows me a book he keeps in his desk. All gibbons, all the time.
Below is a picture of our little gibbon earlier in the week. We had a morning parent-teacher meeting before the rest of the monkeys arrived.
