The recent board game of choice is, you guessed it . . . Carcassone! Named after the fortified French town in the Aude department. It's a tile-placement game in which the players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape on it to acquire points by building structures like roads, monasteries, and castles! Alas, no dragons.
We're still getting the hang of it but the boys really like the game. More information about the game here.
Look at Luke. He's looking taller and more grown up lately. He's certainly more verbal and thoughtful, too.
