While Mom is visiting her Mother in Columbus it's free reign for the boys. Well, almost. During Luke's nap Jack and I delved into his Electronic Snap Circuits set he got at Christmas. There are 101 projects for ages 8-108 (go figure). Above is "Project 1: Electronic Light & Switch."
When my father was 13 he rewired part of his house. Yes, his parents let him! Anyway, I think this may give Jack a leg up on his grandfather! Above: "Project 2: DC Motor & Switch" (click to enlarge). Below is just a shot of Project 1 in the case.
Below is a shot of "Project 3: Sound Activated Switch." Project 4 showed how resistance can lower the sound from the speaker by employing resisters. Jack really had fun and the projects generated a lot of discussion.
We stopped because Luke woke up. Below is how Luke uses electronics, specifically the computer. He yells at Minecraft cows.
We miss you Mommy! Come home soon and I promise not to electrocute the kids.
