Mary and Jack come home tomorrow. We're thrilled at the idea of showing our son his new home. The last full day in the hospital, Jack's 4th day of life, started with an encouraging sight...FattyLumpkin cozy on one of Jack's receiving blankets. She's been sleeping on it every night! Tomorrow will be very interesting as Jack gets to meet his big sister :)
21 inches long and strong.
Annoyed.
We started saying our goodbyes to the amazing staff at Salem Hospital. Our experience was wonderful. Our doctor, the nurses, and the staff were attentive, playful, and very knowledgeable. Heck, we’re going to have the next 9 babies there! I don't have photos of everyone but below is Dr. Vigder, the woman responsible for delivering baby Jack. During our regular checkups she was very willing to spend time with us and provide information. She allowed me to see everything during the delivery as well as be there for today's circumcision (ouch!). Jack was not happy. The photo was taken about 10 minutes after Jack's birth. Jack had some trouble nursing immediately after today's circumcision. Who can blame him? What can I say about Cici and Lori? They conducted our birthing class and were as entertaining as they were informative. I’d recommend their class to even non-pregnant individuals, it’s that good :) We love these guys.
